The BAF function is available in the Vertex IV, the Vertex Laser and the DME instrument.

Counting trees in a plot can be difficult when some trees are hidden by other. With the Vertex IV, the VL400 and the DME instruments built-in BAF function, the minimum diameter a tree needs to have to be included in the plot is presented.

Log lengths are preferably measured with the Digitech Tape and measuring data is stored straight in the Digitech Professional caliper. With captured results on diameters, lengths, quality, species and other, secured in one place and connected to each unique barcode, logistics and warehousing are better planned for and timber sales can be more cost and time efficient. Besides from measuring tree diameters and lengths, the Digitech Tape offers a quick and reliable way to measure also small dimensions, such as board width.
